We popped over to the Stoke branch last week to have a catch up with our Care Manager, Sally about her time at LilyRose and her thoughts on the future of LilyRose
When did you start your journey with LilyRose?
I started with LilyRose in August 2016, I started as a carer and have worked my way up to Care Manager.
How would you describe your journey so far?
It has been emotional and hard work at times, but extremely rewarding. My personal knowledge, growth and confidence has definitely grown. I have met new people and learnt lots of new skills along my journey so far.
How would you describe your team?
My team are amazing, caring, reliable, supportive and feel like an extended
part of the family. They all get along with each other and all often pop around to one of their homes for tea and crumpets – I am still waiting for my invite though….
What are your wishes for the future of LilyRose?
To assist and support in the expansion and for us to become more well known out there because we are the carers who care.
What are your aspirations for the future?
The recruitment of plenty more staff and for the branch I am in charge of to grow and grow and grow.

What do you do to unwind?
Sleep or Netflix and a large gin.
Where is your favorite place to visit?
The New Forest or Cornwall.
Tell us a fun fact about yourself
Last weekend I tried my hand at axe throwing!
What is your favorite song to dance to?
The Weather Girls , It’s raining men – When I was fit enough to dance!
